From 2026, the Gornergrat Zermatt Marathon will enter the future with a fresh concept: a maximum of 2,222 participants ensures an exclusive running experience amidst the Valais mountains.
The highlight for all participants is the new Swiss Runners Ticket, now included in the registration fee!
With the Swiss Runners Ticket, you can travel for free with public transport from anywhere in Switzerland – up to 5 days before the event, and the return is possible up to 5 days after the event.
This way you can combine your marathon with an extended stay in the region, travel relaxed, and contribute to sustainability.
